The tour’s called The Twenty Tour as the guys will be celebrating an amazing 14 number 1’s and 20 years of hits! (No, we can’t believe it’s been 20 years either…)

Kian, Nicky, Markus, and Shane will be touring the UK & Ireland with a selection of our favourite hits from through the years, plus some new material from the forthcoming album.

Will the shows be filmed or recorded?

The 6 July gig at Croke Park, Dublin, will be broadcast live in cinemas across the UK, Ireland and Europe. Read more and buy tickets for live screenings at https://www.cinemalive.com/event/Westlife

No other details of filming/recording the shows have been announced yet.

What’s the setlist?

Westlife will be singing a selection of hits from the last twenty years. Shane said in a Facebook Live interview in February 2019 that the tour setlist was likely to be made up of around 80% old songs, with a few new ones, such as Hello My Love.

The setlist for Westlife’s Twenty Tour will include the following:

  • Flying Without Wings
  • Swear It Again
  • Uptown Girl
  • World of Our Own
  • When You’re Looking Like That
  • If I Let You Go

Shane revealed:

“We had so many songs to pick from when it came to deciding what to do on the tour and we’ve been changing our minds right up until the last second! Every Westlife fan has their favourite song.

If we didn’t put big ones like Flying Without Wings, Swear It Again, Uptown Girl, World of Our Own and When You’re Looking Like That in there would be hell on, so they’re in there. And without confirming anything else, If I Let You Go is my wife’s favourite song…that’s all I’m saying!”

The guys may well be singing Happy Birthday on a couple of the dates, as Mark’s 39th birthday is on the date of the first show in Glasgow (28 May), and Shane’s 40th birthday is the day of the first Croke Park show (5 July).  Both should be memorable nights!

What can we expect from the show?

We know to expect some dancing: Nicky posted a behind-the-scenes shot from day one of dance rehearsals back in April — exactly one month before the first date of the tour — we’re looking forward to seeing the moves!

A photo posted by Kian on Instagram showing Westlife silhouetted with a green laser lighting display behind them suggests that we can expect some snazzy stage effects as part of the show.

Shane has said that the show will be “bigger and better than ever before”:

“We have brought in the designers behind Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas to design the show. It will just blow you away.”

“It’s basically a spectacular show with Westlife songs thrown in.”

There have also been rumours that the guys will do a medley of hits from The Greatest Showman as part of the show… yet to be confirmed!

Who are the support acts?

The support acts vary by location — for the Croke Park stadium gigs in Dublin the support acts are singer-songwriter James Arthur and new Irish band Wild Youth.

For the other UK gigs on the Twenty Tour, Westlife’s support acts are the American singer Keelie Walker and English family pop-rock band The Rua.

Shane has said that Westlife hope to tour in Germany in 2020:

South America, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa have also been mentioned as possible destinations for the world tour, but no dates have been announced yet.

Will more dates be added?

Asia tour dates were announced on 21 March, the Dubai date was announced on 28 April, and we anticipate that more international dates are yet to be announced!

Extra dates have been added to many locations since the tour was first announced, due to to huge demand.  These new dates include:

  • Extra shows have been announced for Indonesia (6 and 31 August) and the Philippines (July 29)
  • Two additional dates for Belfast mean that the tour starts a little earlier than first announced, now beginning on 22 May
  • A third and final extra date for Manchester was announced for 29 June
  • A fourth and final extra date for Glasgow was announced for 28 May
  • Two additional dates were announced for Cardiff on 1 and 2 July

We’ll update the list above if and when more tour dates are announced.

So… what’s the tour setlist? Will more dates be added? Are there going to be any special guests? We don’t know yet! We’ll add more tour news to this page as and when we receive it, so check back for updates, subscribe to our mailing list or follow us on Twitter.
