Westlife Tour Dates 2025

Westlife have announced two tour dates so far for 2025, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their first world tour:

“We can’t quite believe it’s been 25 years of Westlife… and what a journey it’s been. To kick off the celebrations, we’re so excited to announce two very special shows at the Royal Albert Hall in London with the incredible Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra. It will be a wonderful night full of music and memories and we can’t wait to celebrate with you. There are so many exciting things to come and this is only the beginning. Happy 25th to us all!

What can we expect from shows?

Previous shows have featured a few costume changes, pyrotechnics, confetti cannons, and Beyonce-inspired dance moves!

Westlife performed two shows at Dublin’s Croke Park stadium on The Twenty Tour in 2019 which featured impressive stage effects by the designers of the famous Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas, and the following Wild Dreams Tour and Hits Tour staging did not disappoint.

We don’t know if the 2025 shows will be in the same vein, but performing at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall venue in London with the Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra suggests (perhaps) a more sedate vibe, with some magnificent orchestral music. We expect that as a 25th anniversary show that the setlist will include some of Westlife’s best-loved hits including Flying Without Wings – we think that will sound fantastic with an orchestra!

Will we see the guys dressed to impress in three-piece suits? We’ll find out!

What time do Westlife come on stage?

Timings are likely to vary for different venues, but for the Royal Albert Hall in London timings given are as follows:

6.30pm: Doors open
7.30pm: Show starts
11.30pm: Curfew

Previous Dublin Aviva Stadium gigs timings were as follows:

6pm Doors open
6.30pm First support act
7.30pm Second support act
8.30pm Westlife on stage

Times may differ for shows at other locations. Please check with the venue for timings if you are going to a show!

Are there any other tour dates?

No other tour dates have been announced yet. The guys have toured around the UK, Southeast Asia, South Africa, and North America over the last couple of years and are currently enjoying a well-earned break.

However, if you’re really missing hearing Westlife songs live, you can catch Brian McFadden (formerly of Westlife) and Keith Duffy (of Boyzone) performing as tribute band Boyzlife, with a series of dates across the UK in 2025 & 2026:

Westlife Live from Croke Park DVD

A film of Westlife’s Twenty Tour was released in March 2020, titled ‘Westlife: The Twenty Tour Live from Croke Park’.

The show was filmed at Westlife’s homecoming gig at Croke Park in Dublin on 6 July 2019. A camera crew followed Westlife backstage, for some behind-the scenes documentary style clips.

It’s now available to stream on Amazon Prime (rent or buy) and to purchase on DVD. The DVD release also includes a live CD.

Will Mark be touring with Westlife?

As far as we know, Mark will not be joining the shows in 2025. An announcement released by the guys read:

Sadly, Mark will be unable to join the celebrations. We hope he can join us back on stage when he is ready and able. He sends his love and positivity to you all as always

Mark announced in February 2024 that he was temporarily taking time off from touring with Westlife to focus on his health. The promo images released for the Royal Albert Hall shows only feature Kian, Nicky, and Shane in the photos, so it’s safe to say that Mark isn’t planning to join the shows at present. Shane previously said:

[Mark] needs the time off as the tour would have been impossible. But he’s happy now at home. There’s no plans at the moment [for his return] but we can’t wait to have him back.

Shane also revealed that it was Mark’s decision for Westlife to continue performing without him:

‘We talked about it with Mark, and he didn’t want us to [stop touring] because we had so many concerts to do. He missed nearly half the tour so when you’ve sold out shows and when he got sick the first time, he got pneumonia, it was an hour and a half before the first show in Newcastle.”

“We made the decision to keep the flag flying. We can’t wait to have him back”

We wish Mark all the best, and hope he will be well enough to join the guys on tour again soon.

When will Westlife be touring in my country?

We don’t know yet! Kian previously reassured fans that the guys intend to tour widely:

“To all our fans who feel disappointed that their country or city isn’t in the first dates please do know this. We intend to reach every city in the world that has a hunger to see Westlife live!”

However Shane said in September 2024 that the band won’t be touring, in Ireland at least, for a while:

““We definitely will be on tour again, but it won’t be for a while.”

As soon as we know any further, we’ll add details to this page!

Westlife’s previous tour in 2024 kicked off with ‘The Hits Tour‘, with Nicky, Kian and Shane putting on a series of shows across the US, Canada, Brazil and Mexico. This was Westlife’s first ever headline North American tour!

The guys continued touring in 2024 with dates in Southeast Asia to sell-out audiences across Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and South Korea. Audiences in China were treated to a slightly different setlist, billed as the ‘With Love Tour‘, in June and July 2024.
