Are Westlife doing a tour in my country soon? Can you tell them to come to my country?
All the tour dates/concerts we hear about go straight on to the calendar page, so check there for latest info. We're afraid that because this site is unofficial, we don't have any say in where Westlife perform concerts or do signings...that's up to Westlife's record company and their management to decide.

How do I get backstage passes to Westlife concerts?
As you can imagine, every fan wants a backstage pass so they're very very very difficult to get hold of. You can't buy backstage passes, however they do occasionally come up as prizes in competitions in local radio and newspapers/magazines - if we hear of any we'll put them on the competitions page. The only other way to get hold of them is if you know anyone who works for Westlife, or at the arena where Westlife are appearing, you can try and convince them to get you a backstage pass. But, it is *extremely* difficult.
What program do you use to design westlifeweb.com?
I'm afraid we don't use any specific design program, the layout of the site is coded by Susan in HTML using Notepad and Dreamweaver, we use CuteFTP to upload it. Graphics are made with Adobe Photoshop 5.5 and Paintshop Pro 5. If you want some tips on website design you could try checking out webmonkey.com or sitepoint.com. For HTML help try lissaexplains.com or htmlgoodies.com.
Is there going to be a video of the 2002 World of Our Own Tour? Where can I buy it?!
Westlife's record company will NOT be releasing a video of the tour. Unfortunately this is because the concert wasn't recorded at the right (high) quality - sound and vision - in order for them to release it as a proper video. Sorry!
You used to have a Songs A-Z with soundfiles on it, where did it go?
We had to remove the soundfiles due to copyright restrictions following a request from BMG (Westlife's record company)... However you can still check out the lyrics and discography pages.
Where did your messageboard go?
The Messageboard has been replaced by a forum run in conjunction with bandlink.net. This means that you can share your views/opinions on Westlife with a much wider range of people, and because of the nice people at bandlink it means we don't have to spend so much time and effort moderating the board which hopefully means it should be better for everyone!
Why don't you update the site more often?!
We try and update the site at least once a week, and preferably every 2 or 3 days, but we do have jobs - and lives - outside the website (much as we love to work on the site, it doesn't pay us!). Therefore we don't always manage to update the site as often as we'd ideally like to! Please be patient while we try and sort out our busy schedules... we do try and update the site as often as we're able to. If you would like to help out on the site to update it, then please contact us, we're always glad of extra people to lend a hand, especially if you have HTML knowledge!
Do you have Westlife's addresses/email addresses/phone numbers?
We are not able to give out Westlife's addresses due to privacy reasons. If you wish to contact Westlife you can do so via their official website. If you do have Westlife's personal addresses, please respect their privacy by not telling the whole world...

How do I become a Section Editor? Can I apply?
If you're interested in becoming an editor for a particular section of the site, or if you want to start a new section of the site and be editor of that, we're always interested in hearing from people! Just e-mail
with your idea/which section you're interested in, your details (name, location, any particular website skills), and why you think you'd be a good section editor. We might not get back to you right away but we do keep all section editor applications on file in case future vacancies arise, so do write in!
Do the guys have girlfriends?
Sorry girls, three of the guys are happily married - Nicky is married to Georgina Aherne (Nicky's childhood sweetheart, the Irish Prime Minister's daughter), Bryan is married to Kerry Katona (TV presenter - who used to be in pop group Atomic Kitten), and Shane is married to Gillian Walsh (Kian's cousin, and Shane's childhood sweetheart from Sligo) ...any lovelife info/gossip that we know of on Mark or Kian will be on the individual band member profiles pages on this site. Can you send me Westlife posters/photos in the mail?
We're sorry but we can't - we are not affiliated with the band, the record company or the management so we don't have free posters and stuff to give away (unfortunately!)... You can however save the pictures that are on the site onto your computer and print them off.
Can you send me Westlife news by email?
Unfortunately we don't have the time to do this but if you want to receive Westlife news and gossip by email we suggest you join one of the mailing lists that are featured on the site.

Because technically they're illegal and we'd get into trouble for it!! If you're desperate for Westlife MP3s try mp3sound.com or bearshare.com.

Westlifeweb.com is hosted by stargate (if you do get hosting with them, please tell them that we referred you! :o), we also highly recommend Dreamhost's hosting services. If you already have webspace and are just looking to register a domain name (e.g. a .com address) try stargate whose prices start at only $8 (around £5) a year for a .com or .co.uk address.
