> > Saturday, April 15, 2006 Westlife update!
Westlife kicked of their sixth UK tour, the Face to Face tour, in Belfast on April 3rd. It's become something of a tradition for the guys to start off in Belfast before working their way round to Dublin, and back across to the rest of the UK. We haven't seen the tour yet but we're sure it's fab and can't wait to see the guys back on stage again! Check out the full list of tour dates, the setlist, and submit your own tour review on our 2006 tour reviews page.
Westlife's latest single, Amazing, was released on February 20th. It went straight into the charts at number four. After the single release the guys jetted off to Beijing in China on March 5th. They also visited Shanghai and announced a forthcoming concert in Shanghai on June 3rd later this year!
They will be returning to China for two weeks later this year to do some promotion for the Face to Face album in Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, Zhengzhou and Kunming.

So..what's up next? Of course there's the tour with UK dates scheduled up until August. But there's more! Louis Walsh says - "...Westlife are getting bigger. They're going to be working even harder this year. They're set to record their eighth album after the tour and the aim is to break new territories like Canada where they'll be working in June."
> > Friday, December 23, 2005 When You Tell Me That You Love Me misses out on No 1
Westlife's latest single release, a duet with Diana Ross entitled When You Tell Me That You Love Me missed out on the top spot in the charts last weekend. The single was released on December 12th and was tipped as favourite for Christmas number one, however it debuted in the charts at number two, with JCB Song by pop duo Nizlopi at number one.
So, unfortunately, it looks like Westlife won't be Christmas number one after all...this looks set to be snapped up by singer Shayne Ward, winner of the X Factor TV series. However, Westlife's latest album Face to Face currently stands high in the album charts at number three, 7 weeks after release.

> > Saturday, November 19, 2005 Next single out December 19Westlife's next single will be released on December 12 in the UK.Westlife's next single, When You Tell Me That You Love Me, will now be released on December 19 in the UK. Ths single is a duet with Diana Ross and is the second to be released from the new album, Face to Face. The new release date means that the CD will make it's chart debut in the week that the release that tops the charts will also count as the UK Christmas number one. The single has been hotly tipped to be this year's Christmas number one so let's hope the guys manage to make it!
When You Tell Me That You Love Me was originally a hit for Diana Ross in 1991, and the decision for her and Westlife to record the track together came after they were introduced at a party held by Elton John.
Shane says: "It has been a great honour and pleasure to work with Diana. The track has turned out to be one of my favourites on the album and the timing is just perfect for the release - it has that warmth and romance that all songs should have at that time of year."
