It's all go on our new show
Then there's our new little 'kitten' on way

Hi Kian here,

IT'S been an exciting week in the Westlife camp for many reasons, not least being the fact that we have a little 'kitten' on the way. The first Westlife 'kitten'!

All the lads are delighted for Bryan and Atomic Kitten's Kerry and we hope that everything goes well for them. Someone said I'll have to learn Postman Pat to entertain the baby on tour over the next couple of years, but I already know it because I have loads of brothers and sisters. So having another little person in the fold is not going to be a problem.

The rest of us just want to congratulate Bryan and Kerry on their great news and we hope that everything goes well for them. It's a really exciting time for both of them as they're also planning their first home and they intend to live in Dublin.

AFTER all the Christmas festivities, New Year celebrations and our holidays, it's back to business for all of us lads here in Westlife.

Any extra pounds that crept up on us over Christmas are now being seriously worked off as we're busy rehearsing for our major tour.

Apprehensive

We were all a bit apprehensive as we went to work on the new show, but now that we're in the middle of rehearsals the excitement levels are building up day by day.

A choreographer called Priscilla - she has worked with the Spice Girls, Tina Turner and even Michael Jackson - is putting us through our paces and the routines that we have already worked out are really sensational.

All I can tell you is that you are going to be amazed - this show is like nothing people expect from Westlife. It's not that we are going to be jumping around like lunatics; the show is slick, fast moving and exciting and the music is there to match it.

TO say that we were feeling a bit wrecked and sore this week is an understatement. But it's just because we're using muscles that haven't been used before or for a long time.

The first couple of days in the rehearsal studios are always the hardest, but then your body gets used to physical workouts. Now we're getting fitter every day and by the time we hit the stage we'll be lean and mean and ready to take on the world.

It's been a tough couple of months because all the promotion we did for our album, Coast To Coast, took a lot out of us before Christmas. Then we went off and had a holiday, so that recharged the batteries.

Now it's down to the grind again - but the good thing is that it's really enjoyable work. We are so looking forward to going out there with the show and I think the critics who don't like Westlife are going to see us in a new light.

Our new style of performance is a lot more up-beat than people think we're capable of. Up to now we haven't been given the opportunity to show the fans and the critics that we can turn up the power when we hit the stage. So fasten your seat belts and get ready for the experience.

ON the recording front, our next single will be a big charity release in the UK and Ireland and it's for Comic Relief.

We will be also releasing a single, Lay My Love On You, in other territories around the same time.

And we're already working on new songs for our next album. There just aren't enough hours in the day for Westlife at the moment.
