Check out our column for the truth about our lifes

Hi Kian here,

FIRSTLY, let me clear up a wild rumour that has been doing the rounds since it appeared in a British paper last Sunday.

According to the newspaper, Westlife had sacked our co-manager Ronan Keating.

Let me tell you that that report was a load of baloney. Westlife haven't sacked Ronan. He's still our co-manager and we're delighted with all the support he has given us along the way.

So many stories appear about Westlife and a lot of them are totally untrue. So take some of them with a pinch of salt. If you want to know what is true about life in Westlife, just keep on checking out our column here in the Sunday World.

IT was a night of magic on Thursday night as we brought a Westlife mini-show to Dublin for our Christmas TV special.

There is nothing to compare with performing for a home audience - no matter how big or small. And Thursday was a really intimate gig where the audience got up close and personal with us at Dublin's popular Temple Theatre.

We literally just had 1,000 fans there, but with the enthusiastic way they responded to our performance we felt sure that there must have been 20,000 out there.

Don't worry if you weren't one of the fans who managed to get tickets for the show. You can see it on RTE on Christmas Day.

You'll see and hear us performing nine songs: If I Let You Go, Seasons In The Sun, I Have A Dream, My Love, Lay My Love On You, You Make Me Feel, Flying Without Wings, My Girl and our Christmas single, What Makes A Man.

We were also joined on the show by Louis's new girl group, Bellefire, and you are going to love those girls. They were just sensational. We were blown away by their performance. And their song was written by U2, so you don't get much better than that!

Those of you who went to see Ronan's show at the Point recently will be familiar with another new Irish group called Reel. Watch out for these lads - they're going to be huge. They are performing on this year's Smash Hits Roadshow and I really do think they have a great chance of winning the best new act on the tour.

SO what else have we been up to? Well, as you know, we been away in Japan and Asia and while we were in that part of the world we shot the video for our single, Lay My Love On You, which is set to be released in March.

We had a fantastic time on that trip and the fans were incredible. They went absolutely wild for us, so it looks like we are going to be returning to that territory because the demand is certainly there.

Our feet had barely touched the ground at home when it was straight into a big video shoot in London for our Christmas single, What Makes A Man.

For us lads, it was a dream video because it involved us all arriving at a house in all kinds of transport. I'm in a Corvette car; Mark is in a Lotus; Shane is in a super Aston Martini Nicky turns up on a Harley Davidson and Bryan arrives in a helicopter, what else! That was a lot of fun, so watch out for it on MTV from tomorrow.
