This is a collection of random wild, wacky and just plain weird things we've heard said/have seen about Westlife...

When my best friend kirsty and I went to see westlife in the MEN areana 12/6/03 she threw a flag up to shane saying will you marry me but it came back down again so she wrapped her whistle in in and threw it but it hit bryan on the head bounced off and hit kian on the knee. The just looked at us and laughed. We had a boss time and are going on the 29/4 this year in sheffield.

i went to see westlife on the 26th of april 2002 (the best night of my life) when the sexy lads were singing uptown girl bryan had put these massive yellow glasses on! it was sooo funny! i also thought it was funny when bryan burped right into the microphone halfway thru my love. i cant remember much else but im sure they wudda been madder than that! oh yer. n i blew a kiss to mark n he waved at me! woooo!

i couldn't help but remember this... it was Westlife's performance in Malaysia... i recorded the performance on my VCR and kept rewinding it to a particular part in Flying Without Wings... Mark was singing his part and he messed it all up by mixing up all the lines... just then the camera focused on him and he was shaking his head, laughing and then he said in that cute voice of his "I can't believe it." Then the other lads laughed a bit too but they finished to song... Mark couldn't get that silly grin off his face though...

@ the 26th of april I went to a gig in rotterdam. First Bry ran up stage, tripped over a teddybear and lay flat on the floor while the lads were laughing at him. 2nd whilst somebody needs you, nicky fel when they did the chair dancing part and also landed flat on stage. Then there was a part when 3 of them were pulling down their pants so they stood there in their boxers but shane accidently pulled his boxers down to so everyone had a perfect view to his gorg bum (i can vow for that ;) And once in Germany they got a fan upstage for QOMH and Shane asked her for her name but she just cried. Then he asked "Am I that scary?" so Bryan said "I always told you to stop scaring our fans, youll get some1 a heart attack soon." it was so hilarious how she cried and they made fun of her.

When I went to see Westlife in Aberdeen in 2003 Shane forgot the words to 'What Makes A Man' and only sang one line in the song at the end. Kian and Mark were practically singing for him!!! In the sixties section Bryan went for a walk when hew was singing and his mic went out of sync so Kian had to sing for him too!!!!!

When they were flying over peoples heads at the end of the world of our own concerts, bryan was twisting and doing summersaults, he didnt realise that he was being pulled back towards the stage and he smacked his head really hard on the metal railing! he looked up, and went "iiiii'm alright!" and carried on!

On the world of our own tour in Belfast, westlife were in such a rush to get back onto the stage, Nicky didn't have any time to put his shoes on so he came out with only his socks. Someone from the audience threw him up a pair cause he was slipping everywhere, but they didn't fit him so he threw them back. Also in Queen of my Heart, the song started and Bryan forgot the words!!! That was really funny!!

I saw Westlife on 9th May in Glasgow SECC. The show was going really well. Everyone was loving it. Half way through the show Westlife were coming up from under the stage on hidden platforms and the music started for queen of my heart. Bryan sings first in this song so it was sooooo funny when Bryans platform got stuck and the rest of the Westlife boys were on stage. As usual Bryan turned it into a joke and sang;
" So here I stand
I'm stuck in this hole
And I can't get out"
(Then the platform started to go up)
"Oh! Here I go!"
It was so funny!!!

At the westlife concert last year 8th june, they where singing BOP BOP BABY and Kian was swinging his stick around in the air and it flung out of his hand and landed half way across the stage. I thought it was soooooo funny. Nicky just stood and laughed his head off.

In the world of our own concert in Oslo 4 april 2002, someone throw a cuddly monkey on stage and nicky took it and pretended that it was the monkey who sang and not him. It was soooooo funny and sweet. And under one of the dance steps when the boys used walking sticks, Bry lost his on the floor, very funny!! The plattform the boys sang on, the middle worked like a elevator, so when they was going down to change customs I think it was bryan who stood to far out, so shane had to pull him back, Bry lost his balance and almost falled. And u could see how the others smiled and laughed!

i went to c westlife in may 2001 @ the NEC in birmingham. @ the start of the concert all the ladz got a laughin fit and couldnt stop laughin and when they were all sittin on the boxes during swaer it again nicky took his shoes and socks off and but his feet in shanes mouth and she had a fit of laughter and fell off the box, but luckily he was @ the bottom. they didnt sing 1 line in that song!!!!!

when i went to one of the WESTLIFE concerts in the Odyesey Belfast ( i can't remember the date ) BRYAN and NICKY kept switching mics with each other and when ever one went to sing the other came and took that mic it was really funny, and Bryan wouldn't dance with the dancer in Queen Of My Heart and she tried to get him to dance with her but he wouldn't!

One night after a tour concert, Simon Cowell came to visit the lads in a posh new ferrari. Kian wanted to test drive it but he was affriad he'd wreck it. So while no one was looking, Kian drove the car a couple of inches in a privet car park when Anto and 2 cops came over a pretended to arrest him. They kept the gag going for 15 minutes. To make it worse, Blue were watching!!!

when i saw a westlife concert in Toronto, Canada, it was so hilarious cuz the guys were backstage with their mics, cuz they were gonna run on stage and start singing. well their mics were on (i dont know if they were supposed to be or not), and EVERYONE heard them arguing about who looked the best! it was mostly nicky and bryan, but it was so funny. when they heard the audience laughing we saw kian poke his head out and say "dudes, our mics are on!". it was the greatest.

When I was at the SECC on the 10th May to see the World of our own concert Bryan got a wee boy up on stage gave him his jacket and microphone, and got him to sing his part of the song and afterwards he gave him drumsticks and asked him for a fiver!

when i went 2 c westlife of 17th many in manchester evening news arena bryan split the arena in 2 to parts part a had 2 sing 'when the moon hits ur eye like a bigga pizza pie' then side ba sang 'its amoriea' it was hilarious and b4 westlife came on stage there was a massive mexican wave goin around the arena and also shane dropped his cane on the camear mans head and mark forgot his words

On Sunday June 2nd 2002 in the early hours of the morning Westlife were performing at the Astoria. During one of the fast songs [I cant remember which one now] Shane was moving the microphone stand and the mike flew across the stage. Shane and Nicky cracked up. Then Nicky had a problem with his ear piece, he kept tapping it so obviously he couldnt hear and had to go off and get it sorted. Okay the Nicky bit wasnt funny to him but i found it hilarious.

I saw the Westlife consert in Copenhagen 5th April. And 5 things happend there. First of all, Nicky took a camera from some of the fans and took a picture of the audience. The second thing is that Bryan took the irish flag from another fan, standing ne 2 me.... lol... and he keept it on his shoulders when they sang, if i let you go. The third thing is that some one threw up a pillow or teddy or sumthing with the shape of a heart on the stage... No one really cared bout it till the end of if your hearts not in it, when Kian took it up and huged it for the rest of the song. Forth thing, Bryan took a lighter from a fan and pretended being her.... Fifth thing, Nicky was laughin quietly when he saw ma dad standin behinde me (yeah he was with me, hes a Westlife fan, so what!)... And finally the last thing, Bryan could not sing the first verse of Queen of my heart because all fans was singin louder so you couldnt hear him, and he was just laughin and the rest of Westlife jus looked at each other like "wot the hell is up with these fans"......

On 23rd April 2002 I went to see Westlife in Belfast. Nicky was right in front us and he shouted on to us 'I have no shoes on! Can I have a lend of them?' I was about to throw my shoes up to him but this other girl had thrown hers up first.

I went to the final show (June 1st) and when the ladz were dangling from the ceiling at the end, Shane grabbed my hand when I was sat on my friends shoulders and I nearly fell off my friends shoulders, because Shane didn't let go and he laughed whilst I tried to keep my balance! It was embarassing cause I screamed "Shit!" catching Marks attention (my fave w/lifer) and he laughed! I couldn't believe it, then me and my mate caught Westlife about 2 hours after the gig, and Shane apologised for it! But Mark started laughing again! So I walked off and they laughed even more! But in the end I walked back, had their autographs and watched them leave round the back stage door. It was sooo cool but humiliating at the time!

at the coast to coast concert in wemberly 14 april 2001, many funny things happend mainly 2 do with bryan. firstly he made all the people at the arena (it was full that night) do choo choo trains all the way 2 ireland for his mic even though it was in his hand then singing I have a dream he forgot the words and started all of wemberly arena laughing and the other 4 boyz 2 they could'nt finish the song as they were in hysterics 2 much and then whilst singing 'you make me feel' bryan took nickys shoe off him who was sat above him and started hitting nicky on the head with it. not only all this entertainment but then bry came on stage with a cow boy hat and told every 1 he bought it from harrods that day fo 2:99 then singing i lay my love on you he fell on the travelators it looked so painful but bry just got and said "i bet u r all watin for me to cry or say och arent ya (but with a deep voice he goes) well tuff i aint

i went 2 see westlife on the 2nd of may and when westlife came up into the middle of the stage 2 uptown girl..they walked down the steps but shane had missed one and slipped..all the others made out they didn`t see him but u cud see the smirks on their faces..then lter when the danced 2 queen of my heart..bryan had his stick with him but he kept dropping it and getting the dance routine wrong to queen of heart i`m sure he was doing it on purpose!..brilliant night though!!!

On 2nd may at Sheffield 2002 on the world or our own tour the boys were in great form when Mark was talking to the crowd Bryan was walking around behind him and copying him the other lads were just laughing at him, before my love the guys were teasing the crowd by saying how many people shall we get on stage to sing with us all of the crowd was going crazy then all of a sudden Bryan jumped of the stage over the barrier and sat on the front row and was messing around saying "I love westlife so much I think your all great this is my favourite song" the security guards were not impressed so he went back on stage, then during imaginary diva as they came up on the lifts Bryan didn't come up until a minute after the others and while he was twirling his stick he dropped it twice once into the security guard infront of the stage and the next time on the floor and that time he just couldn't get up for laughing and the others turned round and saw he was laughing and they started laughing at him. It was well fun and i enjoyed myself so much.

On the 22nd April, Mark tripped up while singing Imaginary Diva. It was funny and he forgot his words and the rest all laughed. later Nicky grabbed my headband with the big 'W's lighting up and wore them singing Queen of my Heart. He threw them back and I have framed them. Bryan also said he had a flu as he 'flu' to Belfast as in a joke and no one understood him. It was funny when the rest of the lands laughed and Nicky said "sure Bryan!"

The 1st night of The World Of Our Own tour in Glasgow, Bryan ran into the audience and stole my light up stick and ran back up on stage but after a while he came back down, gave me a kiss and cuddle and thanked me for letting him use my glo stick. Then i was in a world of my own.

When we went so see Westlife - May 21st. Whilst the lads when to sit down on the stools that spring up from the floor, Kian casually lent back so the chair would catch him but he went further down and just as he was about to hit the floor he sprung back up!

When I went to see Westlife in Copenhagen on April 5th 2002, a fan threw a teddy bear up to Nicky. By mistake, it hit him in the head and he were just standing there, looking like "Whaat happened?!". He kept the teddy and when he was supposed to sing, he held the teddy up to the microphone pretending it was the teddy, and not him, who were singing. Maybe it doesn't sound that fun, but I swear, it was!

On 17th April 2001 on Westlife's first tour, Kian came out and said that the lads had left him all alone and started to play 'Wild Thing'. After that, when the lads came out, Kian played 'More Than Words' on his guitar while the other guys were singing. As Nicky reached for the microphone stand to bring it out to centre stage, he lifted it up and the top half came off in his hand! I don't think he expected that! But the others couldn't sing for laughing, and bryan was left all alone singing the harmony, trying not to laugh! It was hilarious!

Well If you've been to the World of our own tour you'll know there's a great guitar solo and fireworks come out of the top of it but when I went to see them on 21st June 2002 In The Odyssey, Belfast, It didn't and everyone burst into laughter, And at the same concert Bryan made everyone split into two sides and sing "That's Amore" I'm not sure if he did this anywhere else but When it was our turn to sing the other side sang and Bryan put his hands on his head and said "Does Not Sing Mean Sing to you!!?" It was so funny

this wasn't the westlife concert i went to but in the world of our own concert shane got stuck in his globe and it was his turn to sing so all you could hear was this amazing voice coming from a globe attached to the ceiling.i thought it was really funny when i read it.

i went 2 c westlife on the 17th of may in manchester + the lads were brill! but during one of the performances where they used the canes, shane got cocky and twisted his in the air but when it came down he dropped it right on the camera man below! he just stood there and gasped! the others all laughed @ him and the camera man handed it him back, but he wasn't too impressed! he he! and marky messed up the words to 'diva, so bryan started humming!

Westlife once hosted a request show in MTV Asia. It's before the break, so Bryan stood up to get something. He was sitting beside Nicky, so when he stood up, Nicky tripped him, Bry then slammed into the cameraman, then the screen went black, and when it came on again, Bry was on the floor trying to pull Nicky down and the rest of the lads were just laughing at them!

When I went to see Westlife on their World Of Our Own tour on the 10th May, Shane was dancing with his stick thingy and he dropped it and it hit the security guard on the head. After that he couldn't stop laughing. Also Bryan jumped off the stage and ran round the side. People tried to get to him but there was huge bars in the way.

when i went 2 see westlife at sheffield arena on may 1st Bryan was acting very wild. He said he loved touring in the summer because every1 wears low cut tops whereas in the winter every1 wears fur coats, then when he was wearing his black suit with his white shirt under it (worn while singing angel) he started walking strange and asked "Do i look like a penguin?" It was hilarious!

It was really funny!

On their tour in Glasgow, May 10th, Nicky either fell down on purpose or just lay on the floor, only for Shane to come over and pick him and throw him across the stage. Also Kian, on the flying part at the end of the concert, hung upside down for a length of time, and when returning right way up, his hair stood on end and his face was bright purple!!

on the World Of Our Own Tour on the first night of their Ireland and Uk part of it in Belfast KIAN got stuck in mid air for the first song and half of the next song but he kept singing and the others were pointing and laughing. He was having a bad day earlier on his prized Porsche was bumped into. Also Bryan was joking about on stage the whole night and he put one of the pink Westlife cowboy hats on then later on that evening he put on a big green, white and gold (the colours of the Irish flag) on that a fan at the gig had given him and it was so funny coz he went mad . They also chased Mark around the stage when he was trying to sing.

I went to see Westlife on Thursday 9th of May this year. It was brilliant. I couldn't stop laughing though because when Kian was playing the piano for Angel, Bryan grabbed Kian's foot and tryed to pull him off his stool.

When westlife was here last may 29, they changed costume for their next song seasons in the sun and it was an aloha shirt, Mark maybe because of time pressure, buttoned his shirt in the wrong slots!!! Also, shane accidentally knocked off his microphone while singing his part on flying without wings! ...for a moment he just stared at the microphone before he managed to pick it up and continue singing!

when the guys were out from the plane, they used the elevator to go down the airport. secretly, shane and kian placed a walkman on mark's bag without him even noticing it! then when they were out of the elevator, they passed through the security pass where there's an alarm for any digital gadgets. when mark passed through it, it made a LOUD alarm and all the people looked at him thinking he stole something. shane and kian laughed ridiculously and mark got so embarrassed!!!

when westlife came to Australia in 1999, Shane and Nicky started a tradition called 'Shnicky nights' this is where they go out drinking usually for 5 or 6 hours. well in Sydney the two of them stayed out until 9.30 am. they woke up in a jacuzzi with their beers still in their hands. they had been in there for atleast 3 hours. after that Shane got the flu!

Bryan changed his name from 'Brian' cos with a 'y' it's quicker for him to sign autographs?!?!?

Apparently Kian had an argument with Bryan and Nicky and wouldn't speak to them for 3 days because he thought they were copying his haircut...!

On an australian music show where Westlife were interviewed, Nicky thought the interviewer said "I'd like to thank Kian for having an awesome penis and being great on the piano last night." What she really said was "I'd like to thank Kian for being an awesome pianist and being great on the piano last night." The rest of the lads had a great time laughing their heads off!
