I slipped on my shoes, grabbed my handbag and raced to the door it find my best mates standing there with impatient looks on their faces "Finally , How long does it take to get ready?" said Bryan. Trust me, I thought, to have 5 best mates who are blokes. Well I suppose they aren't ordinary blokes, they form up the pop group known as Westlife. If you live in a hole and have never heard of them then let me give you a quick introduction: Bryan: Loud, Funny & Mad, Nicky: Smart, Mature and Sensible, Kian: Romantic,Girl crazy & Mischevious, Mark: Shy Interesting & Quiet
The theres Shane I haven't known shane as long as the others but he is great. Gorgeous brown eyes, dark hair......ANYWAY I couldn't go out with Shane it would be like going out with my brother or would it?
We finally arrived at the resturant (after we got stopped by fans a few times) and Shane was being a gentleman as usual, pulling out my chair, opening doors and that kind of stuff.I was having a great time but all good things must come to an end and it was time to go home. Shane dropped each of the guys off, then drove me to my house when we reached it I did what anyone would do and invited him in. We walked up my long drive. I was wearing a tiny dress I WAS FREEZING!!!! Shane was still in a gentlemanly mood and he slipped his coat around my shoulders. I smiled up at him, then we reached my door it was very awkward
"My sofa's very comfy" I laughed
"Sofa's good enough for me" he answered
We stayed up for hours catching up. Shane told me of loads of stories about MAD fans and tribute bands, while I told him about my BORING life, Shane didn't seem to mind me babling on though. I was just about to pour myself another glass of wine when I noticed the time."Shane, I'm gonna head off to bed now"
"Okay "He smiled "Goodnight"
I felt a tingle of excitment go through me as he kissed me on the cheek."Goodnight Shane", I said, and trudged off to my bedroom.
After a sleepless night's sleep I found myself sat in Kians brand new flat talking about decor plans.
"So I'm thinking blue walls" he said excitedly "with a yellow border"
"? are you there?" He said
"Sorry, I'm knackered", I managed to reply
"Honestly what have you and Shane been up to?" he teased
I felt myself going red.
"NOTHING" I managed to reply, "there's nothing going on between us"
"ha ha ha, as if, you two are always all over each other!" Kian said while laughing
"Sooooo........... does he like me then?" I said cautiously
"I knew it !!! and I'm not telling ya you are gonna have to find out for yourself!", he was clearly enjoying toturing me!
"Oh shut up"i said flinging a pillow at him

It was a saturday night and I was round Mark's watching . Suddenly my mobile rang "Sorry Mark, I'll be back in a min"
I sighed the best bit of the film was coming on
"Hello" I said impatiently
"Hi " said a cheerful voice
"Oh hi Shane, What's up?"
"Nothing much, just wondered if you wanted to go for some dinner later, with the rest of the guys?" he sounded on edge, like it was REAL important
"Sure I am just watching the end of round Mark's, pick me up about 4?"
"Sure, see ya then"
"Bye"
As i returned to my seat and started to get back into the movie I felt a pair of eyes watching me
"Mark why are you looking at me like that, are you okay for dinner tonight with the rest of the guys??" I asked
"Sure SHANE"he answered
"Look," I said in an american voice "just don't even go there"

I heard the taxi beep outside, I checked my hair then made my way to the door and outside to the car.
"Hiya Shane"
"Hi you look a million dollars" he replied
"Yeah , look fantastic!" Nicky said, while Mark wolf-whistled
I felt myself going red, "Thanks, you don't look too bad yourself Nicky and you Mark"
Shane looked goregous (as always), however he looked on edge.
"Listen guys were gonna have to get there quick cos I don't want my dress to crease!" I said seriously (the guys hate it when I act really girly)
", purlease no-one is gonna look at your dress, there are going to be loads of beautiful women at the resturant no-one will look twice at ya!" Bryan said playfully
"Thanks Bryan you really know how to make a girl feel special!"
"I'm only kidding ya, you look gorgeous " He said, leaning over and giving me a kiss on the cheek
"Thanks Bry" I said
"Here we are" said Shane
As I jumped out of the car and started walking towards the resturant Shane grabbed my arm
", I need to talk to you"
"Sure" I said nervously

Shane walked me round the back of the restaurant where there waas a bench, He took my hand and led me to it. We sat down.
"So Shane, what's up?" I said as coolly as I could.
", there's something you should know... when I'm with you it's like nothing can stop me, I get a huge burst of energy and then when you go I miss you so much" Shane looked relieved as if a huge weight had been lifted off his shoulders, he looked at me for a response.
"Shane when I'm with you, you make me feel so special like I'm the only women in the world, and I like you for it, no more than like you LOVE you because of the way you treat me"
", I treat you like that cos I love you too, so are we together then?" He said smiling and leaning in to kiss me
"You betcha Mr Filan" I said almost laughing
Then Shane kissed me and I felt as though the world had stopped.
"They will be wondering where we've gone, we'd better go back" I said, pulling from Shane's embrace
"Ohhhh do we have too?" Shane moaned
"Yes and you can tell them about us" I said
Shane jumped up "LET'S GO!!" he said
Then he softly sang in my ear "For me its waking up beside you to watch the sunrise on your face.."
I grabbed hold of him and kissed him
"NOW LET'S GO!!!" I said

Shane and I sat down at our table while the others looked at us accusingly.
"What?" we both said in suprise
"We all know you're an item" Nicky said
"We were just about to tell you guys weren't we ?"
"Yes we were!"I said
"Well we're happy for you Shane, 's a wonderful woman" said Mark
We ate our dinner pleasantly and it was about 11.30 before we left.
Shane and I walked back to my house by the river, (Marks fave spot) and then we stayed up talking and then I fell asleep in Shane's arms. It was great. Life is great.

Well it's one year on and me and Shane are still together, our love grows stronger everyday. So what I want to say is if you really like, even love someone don't give up. I was lucky. Love can be blind but in the end it will find a way...
