I felt sad after I had watched the Westlife concert, well, the concert had been great but afterwards everyone with backstage passes could meet Westlife at the hotel where they were staying. Unfortunately I didn't have one. As I sat in the hotel lobby waiting for my friend to pick me up, I looked at my watch. It was 10:49 PM, already late. I had tried to find the public phone but all the phones were broken. Suddenly I heard a noise so I turned my head, I could see all the girls who had met Westlife, they were so happy as they passed me by and I felt more stressed out, "Where is she?" I mumbled to myself, wondering where my friend was. I looked at my watch again - it was 11: 10 PM ... I didn't know why but I felt thirsty and as I looked around I saw a soda machine so I walked up to it. I took a coin from my pocket and I realized that there was a guy behind me, he was reaching to his pocket trying to find a coin too.
I took my Sprite from the machine, suddenly he poked me from behind as I turned my head, and he said "Sorry, but do you have any coins left? Because I ran out of change." "Sure" I gave him a coin and went back to my seat, " Hi..." I heard someone say, so I turned my head and I saw that guy again, I recognized the hat that he was wearing. " Hi..." I replied brusquely because I didn't feel in the mood to talk to anyone "Thank you for the change." He said and smiled "No problem" I replied again "So what are you doing here? It's kind of late, are you staying here at the hotel?" he asked me "Nope, I'm not staying here, I am waiting for my friend to pick me up but she hasn't arrived yet." I explained as I tried to look at his face but I couldn't see it clearly. "Have you called her?" he asked again " I tried to but all the phones are broken." I told him "Well maybe you can use my mobile phone." He said to me, as he took out his phone "No, no it's not necessary" I protested. "I insist!" he replied. So I took the phone and made the call, but no one answered, I tried again and as I did it I noticed that the guy was looking at me. Anyway I already tried about 5 times but still no one answered the phone, so I gave him back his phone "I think my friend hasn't come home yet but thanks anyway Mr....? I said "Ooh Egan" he said " I'm , hey do you have any relation with Kian Egan from Westlife?" I smiled "Well to tell you the truth, I'm Kian Egan" he said as he opened his hat "Oh...me..gosh" I couldn't believe it...Kian Egan... "So how long are you going to wait for your friend" he asked me "Huh?" I felt stupid when I tried not to loose my consciousness as I answered "How long are you going to wait for your friend?" repeated him "Oh...I don't know maybe I'll take a taxi." I answered.
"Well it's kinda late...It's not safe for a girl to travel alone at this time..." he paused "Do you want me to take you home?" he asked "Well, I would be lying if I told you No...but it's all up to you." I answered "Ok, just follow me I have to make a call so the hotel can lend me a car" so we went to his room and when he opened the door I couldn't believe my eyes...Bryan, Shane, Mark and Nicky were all there. Kian introduced me to the lads "This is and I just met her" "Hi...you!" greeted everybody "Hi" I answered with a trembling voice. Kian told them about my problem and after that Kian told me to sit with them as he went to another room to make the call. While Kian was away, the lads chatted with me and Bryan said "I believe that Kian is attracted to you, he's never been this kind to a girl that he just met before...I think he likes ya." I just smiled and said "I don't think so...how could it be I mean so many girls are in love with you guys and a lot of them are prettier than me" and then Kian came and said "I got the car, c'mon let's go." I nodded and said "Okay but first I want to ask you for your autographs" and they gave me their autographs and shook my hand except Kian, he said "I'll give you later". After that we went to the receptionist to get the key and then to the car it was a black Porsche which they lent us I guessed they knew what was Kian like.
Along the road we talked about anything and I thought Kian the one who was taking control because I was too nervous too talk and I still couldn't believe that I was with the person that I adored so much. Suddenly he stopped the car and I saw a beautiful beach under the moonlight. "I know this is nowhere near your apartment but the reason why I brought you here because I wanted to talk to you." He said. He took me out of the car and we sat on the sand.
"I don't believe in love at the first sight but when I saw you my heart started beating so fast..." He paused, I thought I was blushing but I tried to stay cool and I said "Kian did you realize what you've just said?" I asked " Yes, why? You don't believe it right...I knew it!" I can see he's a little upset.
"I wanted to, so badly but this all just feels like a wonderful dream" I said. He put his finger on my lips "But it isn't." he said and suddenly he kissed me. After that he said "I know what I did say and I know it sounds like crap but that is what I'm feeling right now. I started to feel this when I saw you trying to call your friend, I saw a sweet, innocent girl and my heart melted when I looked into your eyes. This is the feeling I've always dreamt of feeling for a girl and I won't let it go because, although I've known girls before you but they never made me feel the way that you make me feel. And when I kissed you I felt like all of my body, spirit and soul were flying high. Being here with you for this moment means more than my whole life. Right now I promise you that I won't let you down if you take me as your man." He kissed me again, gently and I was sure he knew my answer.
In the morning he woke me up with a kiss on my forehead "Morning my angel." he whispered "Morning" I replied "Thank you for made the night so special for me" he said, smiling, "but right now I have to go." He said. "What?!" suddenly I felt sad I didn't want this to be over. "I have to go right now because the lads and me have to be on the tour but I promise you that I will call you later and as soon as I'm finished we will see each other again." I nodded. "Actually I can't wait 'till all of the lads know that we are together" he continued.
I walked him to the door and we hugged and kissed.
The other lads were waiting for him in front of the hotel and when Kian arrived, Bryan yelled at him " Where have you been?" Kian smiled and said "Guess..." "I have no idea" Bryan replied and suddenly he shouted out loud "I have a girlfriend" and he ran to the bus that had been waiting for them and ignored all the other people who were waiting around.
Meanwhile my friend appeared with her boyfriend and with a concerned look she said "I'm sorry I forgot to pick you up, I guess we just lost track of time" I hugged her and said "Thank you. You wouldn't imagine what had happened to me last night." I said and she looked at me with a puzzled expression.
