PART 1 One warm day when I was at home Dad asked me whether I would like to go to Dublin in Ireland with him and Mum, I was really happy and excited when he asked me. I said "I would like to go to Dublin with him and mum. I also had My best friend Sarah Rogers with me and she was really excited as well. We Got ready to go as we were going the next day. Dad booked the Plane and Hotel. We were going to Ireland with him. We finally got to Dublin airport and got our cases. We then hired a car and headed for our hotel called The Stillorgan Park Hotel in the centre of Ireland. It was a hot day and we walked in the hot sunshine to the town centre. We went in to a coffee shop and brought a cup of tea after we decided to have a look in a music shop at the latest Irish music and there I saw all of Westlife’s music including I Have A Dream. In the afternoon we went back to the hotel and sat outside listening to my music especially Westlife. After an hour had passed we went back to our room passing the reception desk to see what was on that evening. We found out that there was a Karoke and Talent show down at the local club called the POD at 8.30 pm. We got ready and headed down to the POD. We got there at 8.15 pm and I decided to sing Westlife’s song I have a dream. The winner of this talent show would win a prize but no one new what it would be so Sarah and I had to wait to find out. Sarah did not sing but she was there to listen to me. It was 9.30 pm and The judges called me up, Sarah wished me luck and up I went. I started to sing and everyone was watching me and singing along with me. I had to believe that I could do it. Every one sang the chorus starting with the lines When I finished everyone clapped and cheered I went back to my seat and heard everyone else. The time came to the end. The Judge stood up and said "unfortunately we can not make up our minds so if you come up and tell us your address if you stay here or the hotel you are staying at if you are here on holiday we will send the details of this prize to you by a piece of paper. When we got back we went to bed and fell asleep when we said good night to mum and dad and slept like a log. PART 2 The next morning I got up and I got dressed and went to mum and dads room and said to them "I will see you downstairs at breakfast " and dad said "OK I will see you at breakfast downstairs" We then went off down to reception hoping that I had won the talent show. When I got downstairs I went straight to the reception desk and I received a letter when I opened it I could hardly believe it; it was from the POD and it said that I had to be at the POD by 6.00pmto find out what I had won and it said I could bring a friend along as well. We had a great day trying to think what the prize was that we had won. At 4.30 pm We got ready to go to the POD. We left at half past six and got to the POD at quarter to six so we only had to wait a quarter of an hour till we were going to find out what I had won. I had my Walkman with their album and their Christmas number 0ne and millennium number one with me. At 6 o clock I went up to the front desk to find out what I had won. The prize I had won was to spend a day and two evenings with Westlife. I could not believe it that I had won to spend a day and two evenings with Westlife and they said I could bring a friend along with me. The people said that they will be out any minute and surprise me so of I went back to sit down to wait for Westlife. PART 3 As we waited with excitement and happiness They finally came out first came Kian, then Bryan then Nicky then Shane and finally Mark. They introduced themselves and we introduced ourselves to them. We took them back to our Hotel to show them where we were staying to see my parents and when we got back they were really pleased that I had won. Sarah and I showed Westlife our room then we went downstairs to have a drink and when my parents came down we all had dinner together. I Sat next to Kian and Bryan Sarah sat next to Bryan, and then it was Nicky Shane Mark sat next to my mum and My dad sat between my mum and I. After dinner They said to Sarah and I that we will be back to tomorrow as we are going to go home now back to our houses and we will take you both out for a fantastic day out aswell in the evening as your mum and dad will probably be working during the day. Kian said "Here are each of our mobile phone numbers for both of you to have" I said " Thank you very much here is my mobile phone" Sarah also said " Thankyou very much here is my mobile phone number" Shane said " We will be back for you both at 10am sharp in the morning see ya" I kissed and said good bye to all of them and gave Kian a massive hug and Sarah did the same to Bryan. It was 10pm and only 12 hours away till we saw them again... PART 4 The next day Sarah and I woke up bright and early at 8 o clock. It took us one hour to get ready and went to my parents room and I said to them " We will meet you downstairs at breakfast" Dad said "That is fine we will see you down stairs at breakfast" After breakfast we went back upstairs to get ready. It was 9.50am and we went downstairs to wait for Westlife. At 10 am they arrived we said goodbye to my mum and dad and off we went to their limousine which was waiting outside the hotel. When we got inside Kian asked us "How would you both like to go to the cinema with me and the guys as it is our afternoon off and we will take both of you out to a posh restaurant before we go to the cinema this afternoon." We both said "yeah that would be great especially with you guys". "Great!" Kian replied. We then went down to the record company and we both watched Westlife record their new single Fool again. Afterwoulds Sarah and I took it in turns to sing I have a dream and seasons in the sun. I sang first and then Sarah did and they recorded us with Westlife singing. After Westlife signed the CD and Cassette for both of us because we both chose to have a CD and cassette. They signed My album of Westlife. After they received a phone call but they all took it in another room so we could not hear what they agreed to. We left the studios at 12.30pm and went of to a really posh restaurant called Johnny Fosters it is an Irish restaurant. They said we could chose whatever we wanted as they were paying. We talked for 2 hours talking about horses with Shane and asking them plenty of things like how long will you keep on going?. We then left to go to the cinema. We went to see the film Beach and we sat next to Westlife at the back I sat next to Kian who was on my left and Sarah sat next to me on my right and Bryan sat next to Sarah on her right. Kian put his arm around me and I put my head on his shoulder. They brought both of us popcorn and a drink of our choice. I enjoyed the film and so did Sarah It was amazing to see a film with Westlife. They took us to their house they all live in when they are over here and their parents are away. They invited us in and made us a hot drink. After they took us to McDonalds and brought us a meal. After the meal we got back into the limousine and they gave us mugs, scarves, t-shirt’s, signed photos an exclusive Westlife duffel bag, leather coat and a backstage pass and ticket for the first tour they do at Wembley Arena. They also signed my autograph book. They dropped us of at the hotel and gave us both a massive hug and he gave me one back especially Kian for me and Bryan for Sarah. They said to me "keep in touch with us and we will see you next year and can we have your address so we can write to you to see how you are and we will give our address to you so you can write to us. We were both upset when they left but we were happy because we saw them. PART 5 The Day came when we had to leave Ireland and head back to London with my mum and dad. We left the hotel after breakfast at about 10am. We got to the airport and I kept on thanking dad and mum for bringing me to Ireland. It was a few days we will not forget. We got on the plane and had a look at the backstage passes and tickets that Westlife had given us and we could not believe that they were touring this coming weekend which was tomorrow and we were really looking forward to it. When I got home we had a message from Westlife and when we listened to it and It was Kian and he said just be ready for a big surprise we cannot tell you what it is as it is a big surprise. Sarah and I did not know what was coming and we were all very excited. The next day came and we got ready quite early. PART 6 At about 12.30pm-1pm the doorbell rang and Fluffy and Sable barked, Mum said "answer that Samantha" so I did and to our amazement it was Westlife! I invited them in and asked them if they'd like a drink. And they said "yes please" At 2pm we left For Wembley Arena we said goodbye to my Mum and Dad. We said "this is a real surprise, I can not believe it Why did you come" Kian said" we came so you can come before all of the fans get there and you do not need to queue up for a very long time, also we will pay for your food and you can get any merchandise as you can get it before all of the fans get here Kian asked Sarah who she likes and Sarah said " I love Bryan" I said "that is good because I like Kian" and Kian gave me a massive hug and kiss. PART 7 We finally arrived at Wembley Arena and we got out at the backstage entrance. Kian asked us "we would all like you to sing a song with us up on stage tonight and you can choose which one it is and you will need to rehearse with us" We both agreed on I have a Dream and they said "Fine settled". We practised it with West life and we watched them rehearsed. When It came to 7pm we left and we said "see you later" They said "see you later" We showed our tickets and got our free merchandise with a special ticket we had each and Kian signed mine and Bryan signed Sarah’s. We got to our front row seats which I had never got to before but these were special ones as Westlife got our tickets. At the end before Flying With Out Wings and we were excorted out and taken backstage. We got ready and left all of our belongings in the room were Westlife change in to costumes. They told us it was being filmed of the whole concert and we were to have a copy of the video and they would send it to us after they had signed it and have had it edited. We got on to stage and sang with Westlife and every one cheered and screamed. And sang Along with us. I stood next to Kian and Sarah next to Bryan. At the end we went Backstage and collected our stuff. Westlife signed our programmes and gave us a copy of the song and video they edited of us rehearsing with them they also signed the song and video. Before we left we thanked them for letting us backstage and letting us sing with them on stage. Kian said "It was a pleasure we will always let our favourite and most loving fans to see us and spend a day with us we will always let you know first and send you front row tickets". I said on behalf of both of us "we loved every minute of it and can we call you when ever we want" Kian said "yes sure any time and we will call and let you know how were are getting along and we must always write to each other and so must you" We said "so will both of us" We finally left and headed for the Chinese restaurant where my Mum and Dad were and Dad bought us a dessert and drink of a hot cup of Chinese tea and some prawns on toast. We got home and got ready for bed and went in the tv room and watched some Television. I made some tea for Sarah and myself and we sat down. We also looked at all our stuff that we got from the evening and when we were in Ireland and to our amazement there was a note from Kian for me and from Bryan for Sarah and It said from Kian and Bryan in this note form Dear Sam I had a really good time with you and I would love us to be Boyfriend and Girlfriend. Write back to me to see if you want this to happen lots of love Kian Egan.We could not believe it that they asked us this and we got writing straight back. I did not know what Sarah had written but I wrote this: Dear KianAnyway I still can't believe that Sarah and I both sang with Westlife in front of millions of fans The song that was number 1 on Christmas Day 1999 and on the Millennium 2000 which was I HAVE A DREAM |
