The Dreamgirl

by Sofie Hagen
- In honour of Bryan & Kerry McFadden.

There she was. Her long brown hair blew around her face, carried by the wind. She was talking to him, but he didn't know what she said. He could just hear her sweet voice. She was smiling.

"Bryan! Bryan, wake up! You're having a nightmare!" Mark was shaking in Bryan, who woke up. "Mark! I had that dream again!" Bryan said, and whipped the sweat of his forehead. "What dream? Oh! About the girl?" Mark asked, and turned on a lamp. "Yeah! Why am I dreaming about her, Mark! I don't even know her!" Bryan said, and let his voice crack. "I really have no idea, mate!" Mark silently said. "I've had that weird, weird dream ever since...Since...You know...!" Bryan said, and rubbed his temple. "Isn't it...you know...That you're dreaming about?" Mark asked, and was afraid to hurt Bryan. "No! She's nothing like her! Not a single thing, reminds me of her!" Bryan said, and had to bite his lip, to avoid the tears, "But just forget it! Maybe I should see a shrink..." he said, and lay down. Mark clapped him on his hand, and limped over to his bed. The leg had been hurting ever since the accident. The horrible accident!

"Bryan is sleeping. Nicky still has a headache. Mark's foot hurts. I guess we're the only ones, who is fine..." Shane said, and sat down next to Kian. "I'm not... I haven't slept since." he said, and ate some cereals. "Maybe we should just try again. You know, make a concert or something. We did cancel our whole world tour, because of you-know..." Shane said. "I know, Shane!" Kian said, and got very angry. "Sorry! You've been so angry ever since!" Shane said. Kian got even angrier, "And I wonder why!! Can't you just leave me alone, Shane! Maybe you don't have any feelings, but I have!" he said, and went out of the kitchen. Shane got so mad, that he knocked his fist so hard, on the table that the cereal fell on the floor. "Shit..." Shane whispered, and started to pick the pieces up. Kian entered the kitchen again, and saw his mate on the floor. He silently started to help. "Thank you." Shane almost whispered, "Sorry, man.." Kian Said. "I'm sorry too...This has been hard for all of us... I shouldn't overreact..." Shane said, and tried to smile. "Now that Kerry is gone, we must be gentle to Bryan... He's not having a good time..." Kian said, and picked up a piece. Suddenly, Bryan was standing in the door, "I thought you wouldn't mention her name!!" he said, and ran upstairs again. "Sorry! I'm so sorry, man!" Kian yelled after him.

"It's on MTV..." Nicky said, and turned on the TV. "...Welcome to the Eurocharts! We have some news, from the biggest boyband in Ireland! They're recovering from their tragedy, where Bryan's wife died suddenly. The band have decided that they wanna meet some of their fans, with hope, that it will help them recover. They're visiting the following countries: Sweden, Norway, Germany, Denmark, England and Ireland!" the speaker said. Mark smiled at Nicky. "Everybody know now..." Nicky said. "Let's get ready..." Shane silently said.

"Okay, guys, that was Norway... On to Denmark...That wasn't so tough, was it?" Louis asked the boys in the bus. "That was actually nice..." Bryan said, and tried to smile - though he hated it! Mark sat down next to him, and Bryan used it as a possibility to tell him his problems, "Mark! I'm still having that dream! I'm almost afraid to fall asleep!" he said. Mark looked him deep in his eyes. "Look, man... It's probably just an old schoolmate... Try looking trough your old pictures! It could be your mother as young!" he tried to help. "I don't think so... Are we there yet?" Bryan said to avoid talking about it. Like it wasn't enough, to think about it 24-7.

She was there again. This time closer. Her eyes were brown, and friendly. She was talking to him again. "Bryan! Wake up! We're here!" Mark was shaking Bryan again. Bryan woke up, and looked around. They were in Denmark. He pulled a cap down, to hide his red eyes. "Come on!" Mark said, and went with Bryan into the big hall, where a thousand of girls were waiting. "Here we go again..." Mark said, and tried to smile. The girls came over to them, and got their autographs. "50, 51, 52, 53..." Nicky whispered. His head hurt like a bomb. "What are you doing?" Mark whispered. "Counting the seconds of horror and pain!" he answered, and tried to smile at a fan.

"Hi Bryan! Sorry about what happened to Kerry!" an annoying voice said. God, she was horrible! Big red hair, and a pointy nose! A knife went trough his heart, everytime he heard that name! Especially, when came from a stranger! "Fuck off..." he mumbled, and gave her, her cover with a sleazy autograph on. Someone gave him a cover, and he signed it. A girl coughed, and made Bryan look up. IT WAS HER! The girl he'd been dreaming about, ever since Kerry died! The girl, with the long brown hair, and brown eyes! "You!" he screamed. The girl looked at him, like she'd seen a ghost. "Me?" she asked, with the same voice as in his dream! The voice that had been talking to him in every single one of his dreams! "Stand right there! Do NOT move!" he said, and ran over to Mark. The girl turned to her friend, who was just as choked. "Mark! That's the girl! The girl i've been dreaming about! Mark, what am I gonna do?" he asked, and grabbed Marks shoulder. He didn't notice, that the bodyguard pushed the girl out, with the rest of the girls. Bryan looked towards the girl, but she wasn't there! A black girl, stood with a cover from their first CD. "Where's the girl, who stood in front of you?" Bryan nervously asked. "Uhm...She went out!" the black girl said, and almost stuffed the cover down his throat. Bryan made a quick decision, and ran out. He made it trough the bodyguards, and out of the door, where all the girls went out. First, all the girls almost attacked him, but he got them away. He looked around, but couldn't see the girl! Suddenly, he heard a bright scream, and he looked in the same direction. He saw the girl's friend, stand and scream. He ran over to her, and grabbed the girl's hand. She got so scared, that she didn't resist his try to kidnap her. He pulled her trough the big crowd of girls, and into the big, blue back door. He ran into the little dressing room, and sat the girl on a bench. Yes, it was her. The exact girl, who'd been on his mind ever since. No, he definitely hadn't seen her anywhere before! Who was she? "Uhm...Excuse me?" she asked, and woke him from his little daydream. "Why am I here? I haven't stolen anything!" she quickly said. Bryan shook his head, "I know... It's a long story..." he said, and walked towards her. It was like watching a cartoon-character in real life! "Please tell me!" she said, and looked very scared. "I can't...Not here! We're moving on to Sweden now... Can you join us in the tourbus, till we come to the boarder?" he asked, and hoped for a 'yes'. She looked at him, like he was crazy. "Is this 'Hidden Camera'?" she asked, and smiled. Exactly like he'd imagined! It was like he'd known her all of his life! "No! Not at all... Please, come with us... It's really important!" he prayed. She slowly nodded. "Thank you..." She silently said. "No! I'm thanking you!" he said, and got relieved. "Let's go! The boys are waiting for us..." She walked with him to the bus. There was her dream - Westlife! Everybody, except Mark looked at her like she was a ghost. "Bry...Who's that?" Kian nervously asked, and tried to smile. "That's Rebecca!" He said. Suddenly, he let go off her hand, and shocked placed his hand on his mouth. "Uhm...Bryan? How do you know my name?" Rebecca asked, and was obviously very shocked. "Oh god! I don't know!" he almost yelled, and took an extra look at her. "Maybe I should take care of you..." Mark said, and grabbed Rebecca's hand. They sat down, next to each other. "What's going on?" She asked. Mark could almost hear her heartbeat. "I'll let Bryan explain... Nobody really know..." Mark asked only to scare her even more.

Knock-knock. Rebecca went to the door, to open. It was Bryan. They were on the hotel, just before the boarder to Sweden. "Hi Bryan..." She said, and closed the door behind him. Bryan sat down on the bed. "Look.... It'll be hard for me to explain, and it can be hard to watch...." He explained, when Rebecca had locked the door. "Just let it all out! I can handle it... I just wanna know, why i'm here with you!" she said, and took his hand. "As you may know... We had a car-accident... But you don't know the whole story," Bryan started, "It was dark, and in the middle of the winter. We were planning to have a cosy night out, but it didn't end, as we expected. We were Nicky, Shane, Mark, Kian, Georgina, Kerry and me. Kerry was driving. I was too tired - how stupid was I?!" Bryan suddenly yelled. "Bryan, it wasn't your fall...." Rebecca said and rubbed his hand. "...Well, we drove, and had a great time. We had the music loud, and were dancing like animals in the small car. Suddenly, I started to take Kerry's hands, and swing them around. She lost control over the car..." Bryan said, and let a tear fall down his cheek, "She drove into another car. We killed a family on 3 persons. A new-married couple with a 3-months old son..." he sobbed. Rebecca looked at him, with sympathy, so he could go on, "...Nicky smashed his head into the window. Kerry... She hit her head, and landed on my lap. I got a small scar on my neck. Mark's leg got cut in my seat, and he almost broke it. Now, Kian didn't get hurt. He had his seatbelt on. As Georgina. Shane was in the middle of them, and didn't get hurt either. They were crying. I can still hear that sound. Sirens coming. I was cuddling Kerry. I couldn't imagine her to...die..." Bryan sobbed, and his eyes were red and full of tears. He cried a lot. "But when the police and doctors came, they pulled her out... And the doctor told me, that her time on earth were trough. She was dead, and was going to heaven. I cried like never before. Molly had lost her mother. The best mother on earth. She's been living at my parents ever since. Right now, i'm not allowed to have her around. I could kill that policeman!! Sorry… Well, Nicky got on the hospital, and got an operation. As Mark. Georgina is still in therapy. Kian just can't sleep. Shane doesn't really show his feelings. He pretends like it was 'a part of nature', but I can tell that he wanna cry. He wanna scream. Like me..." Bryan explained, with the tears falling down his cheeks. He let his hands be cuddled by Rebecca. It was a comfort for him. "I never talked about this. The shrink told me to tell him everything... But I couldn't. Not at that time." Bryan sobbed. "Bryan... I'm really sorry. It has been really hard for you. But I think that Kerry's watching you somewhere. She'll always be in your heart!" Rebecca said, and hugged him. "Thank you... I know... She will never leave me." Bryan said, and let go of Rebecca. "Sorry...But where does I come in?" she asked. Bryan rubbed his eyes, and tried to smile, "Well... A few nights after, I could finally sleep! I started to dream. I dreamed about a girl. She was in every single on of my dreams. She was talking to me. She made me feel good. She was relaxing. Everything about her was perfect! But I hadn't seen her anywhere before... Am I crazy?" he asked, and looked Rebecca deep in her eyes. "Not at all...Go on..." she said, and smiled. "She...I can't explain it... She was just everywhere! I have NEVER EVER seen her before! I haven't even heard her voice!" Bryan said, and shook confused his head. "But...When I saw you...Rebecca, you're that girl! I've dreamed about you every night ever since Kerry pasted away! You make me forget Kerry! God forbid! But...Everytime i'm with you, I totally forget Kerry! Why? I haven't seen you ANYWHERE before! Who are you?" Bryan asked, and looked at Rebecca, who sat with her mouth open. "I promise you - you haven't seen me! I'm nothing special! I'm not even English! I can't explain it! I have been taking psychology in school, but I can't explain this!" Rebecca said, and took Bryan's hand again. It made it all a little bit more intense. "That's not all... I feel like i've known you all my life! I even knew your name! I mean, how can that happen?! You must understand...That when I saw you... I got scared! I had to act like an idiot to get you! I mean... Please...Understand! Don't leave!" he prayed, and looked at Rebecca with some very scared eyes. "You're not the only person who's scared! But I DO understand you...Though it's hard... It's one of the big questions of life... I mean... What are we gonna do? You're going to Sweden tomorrow..." Rebecca started, but Bryan put a finger on her mouth. "Please come with us! You don't have to do anything! Just support me! And the band!" Bryan said, and removed his finger. "I would love too... " She answered, and hugged Bryan. "Thank you... I have to go… Have any questions?" he asked, and gave her a little smile. "I know I should have a thousand, but I don't have a single one. Just go to bed!" she said, and smiled. He nodded, and gave her a hug. "Night..." he said, before walking out the door. Rebecca tried to smile. What was going on?

Rebecca fell asleep. She usually never dreamed, but this time she did. She saw a bright light, surrounded by little lights. The light became brighter. She panicked, but realised that she was dreaming. She tried to open her eyes, but she couldn't. She couldn't move, she just saw the light coming closer. When it was very close to her face, she suddenly woke up. She looked around the cold motel-room. It was dark. "Oh my god..." she whispered to her self. Then she remembered! The light had told her something. She knew what she had to do, but she also knew that it wasn't gonna be easy. That night, she was afraid to fall asleep. Though she knew, that it was an angel, who'd send her the light. It was Kerry's angel.

"Becca, you're awfully quiet. Is something wrong?" Mark asked, when they had breakfast. "Don't blame her. I'm also kinda sleepy..." Bryan said, and took a bite of his bread. "My headache is almost gone!" Nicky said, "It's a miracle!" He laughed, but then noticed that he headache wasn't gone completely. "Congratulations..." Rebecca said, and tried to smile. "It's not a miracle. It's Rebecca." Bryan said. The guys looked at each other. "Bryan, you don't really believe that, do you?" Shane asked. Bryan nodded, "Mark, how's your leg?" he asked. Mark tried to smile, "It's much, much better... " He said. "Kian? Did you sleep?" Bryan asked. Kian couldn't do anything but nod. "And I'm fine, thanks. So Shane... What do you believe?" Bryan asked. Shane looked around at the people around him. "I guess... You're right, Bryan... But you must admit, that it's scary!" he said. Bryan smiled. "And Bex is coming with us." he added. The guys didn't seem to have a problem with that.

"Yo, Bex, catch!" Nicky yelled in the bus. Becca caught the bag, and yelled, "Mark! Get it!" She threw it behind, so Mark could catch it. "Guys!" Kian yelled with a laugh, chasing his bag. "Bryan, eh!" Shane yelled, after catching the bag. "Guys! Knock it of, you're about to knock over the bus!" Louis yelled, stopping their game. The guys sat gently down, and shrugged a little. "Becca, come over here!" Nicky said, and waved at Rebecca. She sat down next to him, and searching for questions in his eyes. "Why are you here? It's embarrassing to ask, but I don't get it!" he asked, and looked nervous. "Kerry sent me to watch over Bryan." Becca quickly said. Then she held her hand up in front of her mouth. Everyone turned silent. "What?" Bryan asked. Becca got scared! "Bryan!" she said, and ran over to Bryan to hug him. "I didn't mean to say that!" she whispered nervously. "I know... I know..." Bryan whispered back. "Okay, let's not ask Bex about anything, anymore, okay?" Mark added, and made the boys smile. Becca fell asleep in Bryan's arms.

She woke up in Paris. How, she didn't know. "Wake up, sleeping Beauty!" Bryan shook her. She opened her eyes completely. "Goodmorning..." she said, confused. "You're in Paris! We're going out. Wanna come?" Bryan asked. Becca nodded. Bryan took her to the hotel, so she could change. She found some tight jeans, and a red turtleneck-sweater. She combed her hair, and brushed her teeth. Then she walked out in the hall, only to see Bryan. "You're just not gonna leave me alone, are you?" she laughed. "I've been searching for you for a long time - now I'm never letting you go!" he laughed back. They both left the hotel, to meet with the guys in a limo. "Man, what a babe! Where did you find her, Bryan?" Shane asked, when he saw Becca. "Shut up..." Becca giggled. They drove to another hotel. There was a huge pool-party. "Man! Why don't we live here?" Becca asked, when she saw the Dream Castle. "Believe it or not - it's to expensive!" Kian whispered. Becca shook her head, and laughed. They went inside. "Here! I think you have to change! You'll fit right in!" Mark said, and handed Becca a bag. Becca went to the bathroom to change. She put on a little bikini, and a thin skirt. She looked herself in the mirror. "Becca, you're dreaming! Don't you dare to wake up!" she said to herself. She put on a pair of black sunglasses. "Looking good..." she told herself in the mirror. "You bet, girl!" a girl said. Becca turned around, and saw a well-known girl! "I'm not so innocent too!" Becca smiled to Britney Spears. A woman, she'd admired since she was a kid. She was dressed like Becca, just with a smaller bikini, and no skirt. "Ha ha, you're drop-dead-gorgeous, girl!" she laughed. Becca smiled, and left. She found the place at the pool, and her eyes got bigger and bigger, for every inch she saw. Guys from A-Z were lying around, half-naked, and girls were walking around, like angels. She smiled, when she saw the Westlife-guys. Bryan saw her, and went straight against her. "Looking nice, girl!" he said. He only war boxers - Not so bad... "Oh, hi my lord! What are you and your shining armours up to?" Becca laughed. "Well, come with me, my Queen, and you'll find out!" Bryan laughed back, and leaded Becca back to the boys. She got a chair, where she could get some sun. She lay down, and Bryan, Mark and Kian decided that they would take a swim. Becca slowly fell asleep in the sun.

She woke up, by Bryan splashing water at her. "Bryan, stop!" she giggled, and took of her glasses. Shane, Mark, Kian and Nicky joined Bryan. "Come in! It's lovely!" Nicky yelled, and dived. Becca smiled, and joined the boys. At a time, Bryan started to swim after her, but she was swimming faster then him. "Get over here, Dolphin!" Bryan yelled, when he couldn't find Becca. She was standing at the shore. Bryan starred at her. The water was drifting of her body. 'Sexy' he thought. "Where are you going?" he asked. She smiled, "When a girl gotta go, she gotta go!" she said, and ran inside. "Yes!" Bryan yelled, and leaned back in the water.

She walked out to the bathroom, and looked herself in the mirror. Suddenly she heard two loud voices, and she hide in one of the boxes. She didn't know why, she just did it. "And have you seen the McFadden-kid? He just lost his wife, and now he's running around with some bimbo..." a voice said. "Yeah, I saw it! I mean... Duh! She's half his age, or something!" another voice said. Becca suddenly felt breathless. "I know, girl! She doesn't deserve Bryan! He loved Kerry way too much! You know, I've heard that he already had sex with the bimbo!" the first voice said again. "No way!" the second voice laughed. "Way!". "Well, let's go out again! I get all grey, if I stand out here to long..." the first voice said. When Becca heard they were gone, she went out to Bryan. He started to splash water on her, but she ignored him. She wasn't in the mood. "Bex? Bex, what's up?" Bryan yelled. He went up shore, to join her at the chairs. "Bex, is something wrong?" he asked, "You can tell me everything..." Becca looked at him. "Yes, Bryan, something is wrong. Do you know what people think of me? They think I'm a slut! I heard two girls talking about me in the bathroom! They think you're going to fast! Bryan, they think you cheated on Kerry!" Becca said. Bryan felt that shock again. He nodded slowly. "I get it... But I don't care!" he said. Becca smiled. "We should only think about ourselves right now." he finished. He gave her a kiss on the cheek. "You're right, Bryan. Sorry for getting pissed!" Becca smiled. "Let's get revenge!" Bryan smiled. "No. This is my job - I'll handle it!" Becca smiled, and started to look after the two girls who'd been talking about her. She saw two blondes stand by the shore, drinking. They were almost fully dressed. She walked over to them, and could recognise their voices. "Hello, ladies!" Becca smiled. "Oh, hi!" the one of them said. Becca didn't hesitate, when she pushed them both in the water. They both screamed, and two men came for help. Becca smiled at Bryan, who made a thumps-up.

"We're invited to dinner here. And we can spend the night if we want...?" Shane said, after talking to the owner. Becca nodded like an insane, and convinced the boys. "You're great, Bex!" Bryan smiled.

That same night, after they'd eaten, Becca went out to the pool again. You could see the moon in the clear water. She was thinking. Thinking about what she said in the bus. Yes, she knew she was there to take care of Bryan. To make him move on. In other words, she was gonna be with him. She knew that. Kerry would only get peace, when she knew that he was with Becca. Becca shook her head, and looked at the sky. "They're beautiful...". Becca turned around, and stared into the eyes of Bryan. "Yeah." she just answered, "We need to talk, Bryan.", Bryan nodded. "What was it, you said in the bus?" he asked. "I was thinking about the same thing. It's something I need to explain... " She said. Bryan grabbed her arms. "Bex, tell me!" he said. She could feel the comfort in his voice. "I don't know much, but one thing I do know..." she started it. Then what? I have to make you love me? I have to be with you forever? Your wife is dead, and I'm here to take over? "Bryan..." Becca just said. She looked him in the eyes. She felt how he led his head down, with his lips on their way to find hers. They were so close to kiss, when Bryan burst into tears. "I can't!" he cried, and sat down, with his feet in the pool. Becca sat down next to him, and put her feet in the water to. "Why?" Bryan cried, "Why does this have to happen for me?". Becca looked at him. "Stand up." she said demanding. Bryan looked confused, but stood up as she said. Becca started to lead her lips against Bryan's. First, Bryan didn't react, but in the moment Becca's lips touched his, he felt something. Something big, something scary. He wanted it to disappear! He didn't stop kissing Becca, cause he knew, that it was the only right thing to do. Suddenly, he remembered where he got that feeling from. The last time, he'd felt something like that, was when he was kissing Kerry for the first time. He pulled Becca away. He looked her in the eyes. She'd been crying. So had he. Then they kissed again. The moonlight hit them, and made the water light up. "You've been sent here to replace Kerry." Bryan suddenly said. Becca looked at him, with understanding in her eyes. She nodded. "Oh god..." Bryan whispered. Then he kissed her again. "It feels right. It has to be right." he said. "We just have to get used to it." Becca said. Bryan smiled. "Can I please have a moment of privacy?" he asked. Becca understood him, and left. "So... This was what you wanted, huh?" Bryan said, when he was alone. "Now I'm with a new girl, do you like that?" he asked. But got no answer. "I loved...Love you Kerry! You left me... You died, and left me here, all by my self!" he said. "But... I feel good now. I hope that you got your peace now. I think I'll turn happy with Rebecca, but I'll never be as happy, as I was with you. Pooh, I love you!" he said, and started to cry. He bent over the pool, and let the tears hit the water. That made little circles. Bryan looked in the water, "Why did you go, Pooh? I need you! I needed you! Molly needs you!" he cried. The water started to move a bit. "I'll take that as an answer." Bryan said, and stood up. "I'm gonna go now, my love. This will probably be the last chat the two of us will have." he said, and whipped away his tears. "But don't forget me, as I'll never forget you! You'll always be in my mind. And in my heart. Cause it's where you belong, Pooh. You belong in the hearts of me and your daughter! Becca will take good care of her! She's gonna be a great mother! Don't worry! I don't love her as much as I'll always love you, Pooh." Bryan cried. "Bye..." he said, before walking inside again.

Knock-knock. Becca opened. Bryan kissed her, and closed the door behind them. "Bex, you understand this situation perfectly, right?" he stunningly asked. She nodded. "Good! Cause I want you to be my wife!" he said, trying to catch his breath. Was this real? "Bryan, I..." Becca started to say, with a smile and a tear. "You - you're meant to be! The two of us are meant to be!" he finished the sentence. "I know... I love you, and I wanna be your wife!" she yelled, and kissed Bryan. While Bryan kissed Becca, he let Kerry go of his heart. He made a sad goodbye with his true love, and started to commit to the other. He cried while kissing Becca. "Let's tell the others." he smiled. Becca smiled back, and they went out to tell the guys!

"So, we meet again. I don't know how you must feel right now, but I know I'd feel jealous. But that's just me. My bad site. I get jealous if people even look at you. I wonder how you're feeling in this moment. It's my second wedding-day, and you're not here. It seems wrong, but also right. When I say 'I do' at the alter, I'll have you in my mind. I wont let you go, Pooh! Well, they're calling me, sweetie... I have to go! Bye..." Bryan said, standing in front of the mirror. He spotted a tear in his eyes, but made it disappear. "Bryan?" a voice suddenly said. That wasn't a voice to doubt - Bryan turned around, and looked into the eyes of his late love, Kerry. She was wearing the wedding-dress she war at their own wedding. "Pooh!" Bryan yelled, and tried to hug her. But she was air. "Bryan, I'm here to give you my blessing! You've giving me peace now! I've dressed up, can you see how pretty I am?" Kerry asked. Bryan felt the tears rolling down his cheeks. "You said that, when we were getting married... " He whispered. "I know. I love you Bryan, and you'll never leave my heart either. But there's two of 'the-one'. I've found the second to you, so just get started!" the angel said. Bryan cried like never before. "I also think I love Bex. It's nice to know I have your blessing. Why did you leave me?" Bryan asked. Kerry smiled, "Hey! Do you think I died on purpose? And I thought I knew you..." she said sarcastically. Bryan laughed trough the tears. "So go on. Go marry your pretty bride! She's very exited, you know..." Kerry said. Bryan smiled, "She'll never get as pretty as you." he answered. Kerry smiled. "Go on, my baby...You look just as handsome, as when I saw you the first time..." Kerry smiled. "Do you have to go?" Bryan asked. "No. I'll be at the ceremony. But when you say the two magic words, I'll be gone forever." she said. "How can you be happy in this situation?" Bryan asked, when he felt the tears again. "I'm happy for you, baby. Now go!" she smiled. Bryan smiled back.

The melody started, and Bryan walked out in the hall. All his family and friends were there, and he was proud. Very proud! He reached the alter, and stood beside Mark. Then the music really started, and his bride came walking in. Becca was prettier than ever before. Bryan looked at her, with love in his eyes. She reached him, and he smiled. The priest started to say the words. "And at last. Rebecca Smith, will you take Bryan McFadden as your beloved husband?" the priest asked. Becca looked Bryan in his beautiful eyes. "I do." she said. Bryan felt something in his heart. Was it relief? "Now Bryan McFadden, will you take Rebecca Smith as your beloved wife?" the priest asked. Bryan looked at Becca. He got a short flashback, from when he met Kerry. He remembered how she laughed, and she made him laugh. He smiled. He remembered the day she gave birth to Molly. And at last, he remembered the day, when she said 'I do'. It was like yesterday. "I do." he said. He felt the same again in his heart. He knew, that Kerry wasn't with him more, but that she was happy for him. "You may now kiss the bride!". Bryan kissed Becca. He knew it was true love. Becca knew, that she never would be as great a wife as Kerry, but she also knew, that Bryan loved her. The rest of the wedding went well. They laughed, they sang and they danced.

"Are you happy now?" Becca asked. "I'm very happy. As long as I'm with you." Bryan answered. He wrapped his arms close around her, and laid her on the bed. He kissed her tenderly and softly.
