Fans meetings with the lads... By Kimberley Boldock, k_boldock@hotmail.com on the 3rd april 2001 myself and my cousin ellis went to see our heroes, westlife in concert at the sheffield arena, i had already seen there amazing show when i went to see them in march however, ellis had not seen the show. she was absolutley amazed and so was i for the second time! one of 2 big highlights of the night was seeing bryan take his trousers fully off on seasons in the sun! his black calvin klein boxers were on show to thousands of screaming girls including ellis's who is only 9! she was very suprised, her eyes nearly popped out! later on in the show i recieved a text message off my mum to tell me that she had been thrown out of the bar she was in because the was a private party on at 12pm! i screamed with excitement as i knew it was westlifes aftershow party! as soon as 'DREAM OVER' appered on the screen myself and ellis ran to the bar, they had not arrived yet! we waiting over an hour and then out of nowhere a big shiny white tour bus appeard! oh my god oh my god we were shouting as they were only us two outside! shane came jumping out of the tour bus and asked us 'how r ya?' i was speechless! then kian came out after! shane filan and kian egan were stood infront of me talking to me! i asked shane for a picture he said yes and he posed for it, then he looked at me funny and said ' i think you need to open the lense love' we both started laughing as i replied 'oh yeah!' i finally took his photo and he went inside to the party. kian was so small that when he put his cheek out for me to kiss him i had to bend down! kian did not have much to say as usual but hey i met him! we could not see anyone else so we decided to go near there tour bus, a man greeted us and let us look around the bottom of there bus, we saw there new nike trainers and there coats and then we saw........ BRYAN! he came down and was suprised to see two fans snooping round his bus but he was fine with us. ellis loves bryan so she was very starstruck but i was talking to him and he was so nice! he was asking me if i enjoyed the concert and what i liked best etc.. and we were talking for about 5 minutes. i asked bryan for a photo too and he put on the cutest of smiles for me ( thankfully, i opned the lense this time!) he then kissed me on my LIPS! and then said in a sarcastic voice 'arent ya gunna kiss me back then!' i obviosly did that! who would;nt! that was the end of the first fan enecounter! as nicky and mark were doing there 'own thing'. it was the most amazing night ever and there is more to come! i have met them four times in total now and there is definatley more to come! >> Back to main Fan Encounters page |
